Charles i carved oak chest, the two plank top with moulded edges, below a frieze rail carved with scrolling serpents flanking central nulled carving. four carved figural terms, the outer terms hold their hands in prayer, the inner two terms hold books, the terns are set at intervals between three arcaded panels with floral and leafy swirling guilloche carving.
